  Songs that are listed under Insight Unlimited Publishing can be viewed in our catalogue. We will provide further detail upon request.

Licencing

• Why do I need permission to use other people\'s song?
  Because every song is copyrighted to the songwriter and protected by the law, it is necessary to apply for permission before using the song.
• What kind of Permission that could be granted by Insight Unlimited Publishing?
  Insight Unlimited Publishing categorizes the permission as:
  a. Mechanical license : Permission to reproduce a song and lyric with new arrangements. Mechanical license is the authorization to change the lyrics or translation of
  the lyrics with the approval of Publisher and Songwriter.
  b. Master License : Permission to use the original master audio without changing the lyrics and music composition at all. Master License can be used for compilation
  albums and others.
  c. Synchronization license : Permission to use the music to connect a story or establish the mood of a story in movies, advertisement, websites, or other audiovisual multimedia.
  d. Printing License : Permission to use a song (score or parts) printed on paper to be a song book.
• Can I record and make new arrangements of the songs that I want?
  Yes, it is already included in the mechanical licensing.
• What if I want to change or translate the lyrics of the song?
  Lyrics of the song could be changed or interpreted under agreement made by both Insight Unlimited Publishing and the Song User.
• Who can I contact to apply for licensing?

• What if I want to use the original master recordings for a compilation album?
  For the use of original master recordings, the authorization is called Master License. Insight Unlimited Publishing will process the authorization with the Songwriter
  and the Label that produced the Audio Master Recording.
• How much does it cost to get the license to use a song?
  Song Royalties may vary, depending on the type of the license. Insight Unlimited Publishing representative will contact you to provide details of our offerings.

• How to join Insight Unlimited Publishing?
  If you are an artist, songwriter or producer and would like to have Insight Unlimited Publishing to consider your music for pitching to film/TV projects, please just email (yhariyanto@insight-unlimited.com)
• How is the process to get the permission to use the song?
  After selecting the song, Insight Unlimited Publishing will process the license and make the next offer for the Song User. If both parties have agreed to the rights and
  obligations, the song is ready to use.
• How is revenue split up for songwriting and publishing?
  All music publishing revenue is typically split 70%-30% between the writer and the publisher, typically referred to as “ the writer share” and “the publisher share.” For instance, if a music publisher collects $100 in royalties, $70 goes to the writer(s) and $30 goes to the publisher (who is often the writer as well). If a writer has assigned the publisher share on a given song to a publisher other than himself, the writer nonetheless always retains the writer share and the associated royalties.
• What is music publishing?
  Music publishing is the business of managing songs (melodies and lyrics) and their copyrights. When an individual songwriter creates a song, he or she is the 100% writer and 100% publisher. If the writer has a publisher other than himself working for him, then the publisher typically participates in the ownership, promotion and administrative activities relating to the song.  A music publisher's functions are many, but the most important aspect is making sure that songwriters get paid for their art!
